I have used Holly for multiple design projects and have always loved the results! My first project was some decades ago, when we had purchased our first home. She was a huge help and had such excellent ideas about furniture arrangements, color schemes, and fabric and furniture choices.
An even larger project was a major remodel of our second home about 14 years ago. Holly helped with the architectural changes by making the appearance of two new rooms’ interior and exterior look as if they had been a part of the original house. Their addition has greatly added to our pleasure of using the house. And then of course, she talked us through the determination of the overall color scheme, additional furniture, replacing all fabrics and being our go-between with the builder.
Holly is always very professional in addition to being a pleasure to be around. Her knowledge of architecture and building construction in addition to her wonderful eye in being able to visualize how a room should look is so impressive. One of her greatest assets is that she truly listens to what her clients want in their project. Most importantly, she is upbeat, positive and a pleasure to work with!
After moving into an architect designed mid-century modern home, I worked with Hollis to create a more personal space from a completely empty palette. Since I also work from home, it was important that the design reflected both who I am and my business.
From the beginning, she was consistently thoughtful and considerate of my taste and ideas while also confidently bringing her own vision and options to the table. I’m an opinionated client, but I wasn’t looking to override the process.
